The plane has approximately 63 hours on it since it was new. I bought the plane used with 52hours on it. The Rotax 503 is as solid as they come.
I have refurbished the plane from the ground up, almost everything on it is NEW.
Here is a list of some of the thing I have changed:
Had the plane repowder coated to a Neon Green, Black and near Chrome all with a matallic clear coat.
Replaced all the hardware with new AN Aircraft grade hardware, nylon lock nuts/ bolts etc.
Changed out the analog gauges to a digital Taskem EFI, in which displays:
Altitude / Rpm's / Rate of Climb / Volts / Engine hours / Flight time /
Dual cylinder head temps / Dual exhaust gas temps. I also replace the mini tach by the throttle quadrant as well.
Had a new seat cover made, tan in color with custom embroidery on it with the make and model, the stock was black and I still have it if you want.
All new wiring from the front to the back and put in a new sheilding.
Chute bag / and line sleeves
Suspension has been upgraded from the stock fiberglass axles to a 3 point shock suspension from the manufacture.
New cleats to hold riser cables off the ground.
New Riser cables.
New Smart single strobe beacon.
New Ignition switch with the quick flip hoods.
New battery.
Plugs and fuel lines have been replaced at the begining of the year.
The chute is sent off at this time for an inspection and a line replacement.
I have already registered the plane, so now all that has to be done is the inspection by a DAR.
They plane is a blast to fly, and the slow and low is uncomparable to anything else.
I am sure there are many things that I have missed to mention. I have somewhere in the range of $13,200.00 invested, but am selling it for quite a bit less. I have several other projects now that are taking my time, so I am having to give one up.
